Renting a tent for the Skills Competition

Renting a tent for the Skills Competition

Organisation of a construction company event in Champagne Ardennes

On 13 and 14 April last, the elite of the construction industry in the Grand Est region met in Reims for the regional final of the 45th Olympiad of Trades. Bricklayers, painters, tilers, 52 of the best young professionals competed against each other. Atawa also took part.

The Olympiad for Crafts is the largest international competition for young people and vocational training! It is an opportunity for young people under 23 years of age from various training paths to perform a high-level technical demonstration for the trade and country whose colours they are defending in front of a large audience. A renowned competition during which the young people are fully involved to prove their talent and the excellence of their know-how in their chosen or practised trade.

Construction of an ephemeral building for the BTP

Atawa, the event architect, also achieved a feat: erecting a large "building" in a minimum of time. A huge 800 m² tent occupied a basketball court for the weekend. This is where the young candidates competed in the name of their profession.

A difficult place to access

The sloping basketball court, surrounded by fencing, made access difficult. Atawa's clever and practical team chose to use a telescopic crane to unload the truck at the event site and facilitate ballasting.
A technical feat worthy of the competition it was serving...
